In this video I demonstrate how to modify a cheap USB Flash drive into a password protected USB data storage ::::: 1. First, buy a cheap USB flash drive. The USB drive must have a Chipsbank CBM2199E controller (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000712595156.html); 2. Using "ChipGenius" you can check USB Flash controller type; 3. Download the Chipsbank APTool (https://www.usbdev.ru/files/chipsbank/cbm2099aptool/). Some antivirus programs detect these tools as viruses. I am not responsible for the reliability of these programs and possible damage to your system. I recommend doing this in a virtual machine (https://www.virtualbox.org/); 4. In the program, click on settings and enter the password; 5. Do not disconnect the USB device during the process; 6. When the program is finished, reinsert the USB drive; 7. Now let's check the password protected USB drive; 8. After connecting the USB drive, we see only a 2MB partition. Any user data is invisible; 9. After entering the right password, the protected user partition is opened; 10. Let's put some files and try to secure them; 11. Now unplug the USB drive and plugin it again to check if the uploaded file is secured; 12. As you can see, you can open the user partition only after entering the correct password; 13. I hope it was interesting. Thank you for watching. :::::: Music: "Ikson - Anywhere" is under a YouTube Free license. Music promoted by BreakingCopyright: https://bit.ly/anywhere-song
